Promark Andrew Markworth Signature Hard Marimba Mallets

The Andrew Markworth mallets from Promark offer an unprecedented durability - tested directly up against competitors by marimba-bashing robots, these held up about 3 times longer than an average mallet.

This comes from a manufacturing process unique to Promark. For one, the molded epoxy core is threaded directly onto the shaft, preventing cores that "tick" when you play, or worse, fall off. This molded core is extraordinarily consistent, thanks to them being manufactured by Promark themselves.

The durable yarn is also wrapped in a unique way, thanks to the string-wrapping process that D'addario developed for guitar strings. This again gives a high level of consistency and durability that is unusual in keyboard mallets.

The egg-shaped mallet heads get an even blend of articulation and warmth, and the birch shafts help you nail those faster moments. An added brass insert in the center of the epoxy core adds a significant amount of weight that helps get extra depth out of the bars.

These are great mallets for indoor and outdoor use, as their durability will allow them to last, while their design allows them to sing.
