Evans Orchestral Staccato Concert Snare Drum Batter Heads are made with a single ply of 7.5-mil film, producing an open and airy quality of sound that heightens sensitivity in the concert hall. It creates moderate attack, quite a bit of sustain, and a full tone.
The Staccato model also features a 2-mil internal overtone control ring that dampens unwanted ringing and makes tuning a little easier. Focus and articulation are enhanced as well.
