IP Christopher Lamb Orchestral CL-X7 Xylophone Mallets have a special 32 x 20mm rosewood head that feels and sounds totally unique against the rosewood bars of a xylophone - it almost 'gives' a little. The wood-on-wood contact gives these mallets more attack sound than plastic or rubber.
These mallets are very light and quick in the hands, and everything about them feels crisp.
All mallets in this series have flexible rattan shafts that do not transfer any 'tick' to the sound of the bar.
