IP Christopher Lamb Orchestral CL-X8 Xylophone Mallets come equipped with 35 x 18mm rosewood heads that are medium-weighted for a fantastically balanced feel. The unique feel and timbre of rosewood on rosewood adds yet another color option to the palette you have in your mallet bag.
These mallets tend to pull out the entire spectrum of sound from the bars - the full fundamental tone because of the weight, and the high overtones and attack sound from the rosewood construction.
All mallets in this series have flexible rattan shafts that do not transfer any 'tick' to the sound of the bar.
