This white cord runs underneath the bars of Musser M645 or M646 concert bells to accomplish two things: lessen the amount of "thunk" you get with each strike, and give the bars a smaller contact point so they will resonate longer.
This cord is cut to fit these bells in a traditional crisscross manner.
