Consistent with the other cymbals in the ENERGY series, the Dream Energy Series 14" Hi Hats have extra weight to give extra volume. The bottom hat is completely unlathed on both sides while the top leaves only a small part of the bell unfinished. This combination of finishes allows the player generate more than ample sound power without having to expel excessive energy in order to obtain it. The tone is bright and the response is quick.
Unique to the ENERGY line, the bell is left unlathed focusing the weight of the cymbal in and around its centre. This results in a cymbal that has a slightly exotic timbre with all the sound qualities that a rock or metal drummer is listening for combined with a raw, unrefined look. ENERGY's are also excellent recording cymbals that will have you sounding great in the studio.
