The Meinl 11" Floatune Quinto Conga features a unique tuning system: the tension hooks and lugs are totally isolated from the shell and there is absolutely no drilling involved. This helps the shell resonate to its fullest capability for the most powerful, full sound possible.
Two-ply rubber wood shells are warm and bright in tone while being very strong to withstand extremely high tension.
Real buffalo skin heads feel and sound authentic, held strongly in tube with 10mm tension hooks and 4mm SSR rims that have been designed to feel better on the hands than traditional rims. Conga Saver rubber bumpers protect the shells from the other drums' tension hooks when set up next to each other.
This drum also comes with a sound pad to make it sound good even on the floor, an L-shaped tuning key, tune-up oil, and an accessory pouch to hold these small items!
