The Grover Pro Will James Signature Concert Snare Drum was designed with the intention of being able to win orchestral auditions, and then be used in actual orchestral performances. It's made with a CNC machined, 10-ply, cross-laminated maple shell with 45-degree single face bearing edges.

Three types of snare wires are equipped on this drum, all individually adjustable: coated cable, uncoated cable, and curly. This blend gives you crisp response across a huge range of dynamic levels.
Contempo tube lugs and die-cast hoops lock in your tuning and won't let go over time. A soft rubber rim guard, placed at the far edge, stops you from accidentally hitting the rim when you go out to the edge for quiet playing.
