Meinl 12" x 24" x 24" Headliner Congo Rope Djembe

Meinl Headliner Congo Series Rope Tuned Djembes are crafted in a very similar fashion to the traditional method found in Mali: hollowed from a solid piece of plantation grown Mahogany, the shell is then hand carved and the ropes are weaved in the traditional fashion. The pre-stretched ropes are made from PP nylon, and the head is made from hand-selected goat skin, making for a very authentic-sounding instrument.
