The Meinl 15" Hoop Drum features a durable fiberglass frame covered with a hand-selected natural buffalo skin head. The use of the buffalo skin drum head gives this drum a warm sound that can range from a docile, earthy tone to a boomy and powerful impact.
The hide skin head is wrapped around the drum frame and laced across the back. This allows you to adjust the tuning of the drum as well as providing an easy grip.
This drum features a Triskele Symbol printed across the head and comes with a leather padded wooden beater for a traditional feel and sound.
