The Tama Speed Cobra 310 Single Pedal was designed to provide people with a very high level of performance at a price reasonable enough for all drummers. The footboard features the same design as the Speed Cobra 910 - it's extra long to accelerate the beater at the end of each stroke.
The recessed setting position of the chain provides players with the same amount of power as an Iron Cobra, with about 20% less exertion. The LiteSprocket is also significantly lighter than Iron Cobra sprockets (about 40%) to make everything feel even faster.
The double chain drive of the Speed Cobra 310 is exactly the same as the 910, with a smooth and accurate motion. You can also adjust the beater and footboard angles to fit your personal playing style.
The Spring Tight tension rod prevents the pedal spring from twisting, which normally would greatly reduce smoothness. It's also prevented from loosening thanks to a specially-designed nut.
