The Ludwig Albert series IP3102 medium extra soft yarn marimba mallets are crafted from superior materials with specifications from Belgium marimba artist Ludwig Albert III making them not only structurally sound, but sonically superb. The IP3102 feature the finest rattan handles, cut to a length that offers the best balance for any playing situation. The specially weighted rubber core is extra soft in the IP3102 and it's shape is ideally suited for bass marimba parts. Wool-blend yarn is used in these mallets for durability and exceptional tone. Because of the number of mallets in this series, the firmness of the IP3102 is increased only slightly over the IP3101 mallets.
