The JW9R is another great mallet in the Jim Wunderlich signature series. It features a rubber-like synthetic core wrapped tightly with cord on a 14.5" rattan shaft. A player using these mallets can punch out notes in front of the ensemble while preserving quality and integrity with the instrument.

About Jim Wunderlich Jim is the Front Ensemble Caption Head and arranger for The Concord Blue Devils. He is also the arranger for the Brigadiers of Syracuse, New York. Jim is active in Winter Guard International (WGI). He has been the Front Ensemble arranger & caption head for seven-time WGI Scholastic World medalist Mission Viejo High School; two-time WGI Independent World gold medalist Riverside Community College; and five-time WGI Scholastic A medalist Loara High School. Jim has served on the WGI Percussion Advisory Board since 1996, and is a founding member of the Southern California Percussion Alliance.
