The Roc-n-Soc Lunar Extended Throne features a hydraulic height adjustment system, moving up and down from 22" to 32" tall with a pull of the trigger thanks to a built-in nitrogen gas shock absorber. The absorber gives the seat a little bounce - a little extra bonus comfort.
Much taller than a drum set throne, this seat is excellent for timpanists or percussionists who play taller instruments while sitting down, really tall drummers, or other instrumentalists like bassists and cellists who require additional height while they play.
The 5-point base is about as stable as it gets, so you can lean far out without risk of tipping over. The round seat freely spins as you rotate, and it can never be in the wrong position. The cloth covering breathes so you don't get sweaty and uncomfortable.
