Meinl's Pure Alloy Cymbals are a departure from their normal envelope-pushing MO, made with traditional lathing and crafting techniques to be more "standard" like the most popular cymbals of the past few decades. They're made from a completely different bronze alloy than their other cymbals.
This 20" ride creates clean, bright, energetic patterns over a sweet, musical wash that lingers for quite a while. The bell cuts through the mix with clarity, but it's not over the top.
