- Grooved Hoop- 1.6mm thick hoops with no holes for tension rods, the Grooved Hoop is designed to provide maximum strength and durability when paired with the Freedom Lugs and Hooks.
- Freedom Lug and Hook- This simple mechanism allows the hoops to be removed from the drum without taking the tension rods out of the lugs.
- Linear Drive Strainer- designed to be completely silent, even when rapidly turning the snares on or off
- Detachable Butt Plate- allows the entire butt plate to be easily removed, keeping the snares at their original tension when changing the snare head
- Ratchet Snare Tension Adjuster- this tension adjuster works like a ratchet, allowing you to adjust and hold tension on the snares 0.125mm at a time
The combination of Maple's open, resonant sound with the Grooved Hoop and super sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy snares gives this drum a rich, open, crisp sound reminiscent of the prized vintage snares.
