From local gigs to national tours, Pearl's updated Professional Series drums have a look and sound that fits in any live performance space. Beginning in 1985, Pearl introduced its legendary MLX drums under the Professional Series banner to bring the powerful Maple sound to the forefront. Today, Professional Series returns with the spirit of the original and a refreshed presence for the experienced drummer. Its EvenPly Six 5.3mm North American Maple shell is made for lively sonic warmth from the cockpit, and broadcasts with a broad frequency spectrum in performance. This 3-pc. shell pack includes a 22"x16" bass drum, 16"x16" floor tom, and 12"x8" tom. Features include Pearl's classic RL Lug, tour-ready adjustable spurs, OptiMount tom suspension system, and Remo UT drum heads. Its vintage inspired premium wrapped finish assures a solid look and feel in varied venues and climates.

  • 45-Degree Bearing Edge: This crisp contact point between the shell and head transfers energy from the strike rapidly through the drum, and allows for increased sustain.
  • Premium Transparent Lacquer Finishes: the natural marbled beauty of furniture-grade Maple is enhanced by Pearl's exclusive 31-step finishing process.
  • 2.3mm Triple-Flanged SuperHoop II Hoops: Durable chrome counter rims that keep even tension across all tuning points in the most demanding performance environments. 
  • BB3 Bass Drum Bracket and TH1030I Tom Holder Included: Insulated dual position mount for the GyroLock infinitely positionable tom arm reduces the amount of stands needed for the gig. 
  • OptiMount Suspension System: Pearl's four-way tom isolation holder takes mounting hardware off the shell to allow for increased resonance and better tone.
