The original Meinl Slap-Top Cajon made cajon playing a lot more comfortable, more like playing a set of bongos. This Pickup model adds in the ability to easily amp the instrument when you need a little more volume, with a passive pickup system featuring bass, snare, and tone control knobs.
The mahogany playing surface's outer edges contain internal snare wires for crispy slaps, while the resonating chamber that sits between your legs helps those boomy bass tones resonate. The body is made from Eco-friendly, medium density fiberboard.
