Tama StarLight Marching Drums are easy to carry around the marching field or down the parade route. They tune easily and are very low-maintenance compared to much heavier corps-style equipment. If your drummers are very young or want to save their backs, StarLights are great.
The 14" x 24" StarLight Marching Bass Drum is made out of a 100% birch shell (7 plies/7mm thick). Lightweight aluminum die-cast lugs help keep the weight down.
Safety Lock Mounts replace old J-bar technology, allowing your drum to connect to a StarLight Bass Drum Carrier (not included) or a Silver Armor Carrier in a way that securely locks the two together. No rattles, and no jiggling even when doing advanced movement.
