Instead of using a heavy metal brace to hold the individual drums of Ludwig Marching Tenors, they've collaborated with Randall May to create Free-Floating Lug Bridges. By connecting the drums to each other with high-strength polymer brackets on the lug casings, they've reduced a significant amount of weight.
This model connects a 6" spock drum to the 8" drum in a 6-8-10-12-13" quint configuration.
