The Meinl Jumbo Arch Bass Cajon looks like you took a regular cajon and blew it up like a balloon. The curved side and rear panels increase the volume of the internal sound chamber, and bigger means lower. The boomy low tones tend to dominate.
The cavernous body is made of Siam Oak, while the frontplate is bright and durable maple. Internal snare wires give you that snappy sizzle when you play in the upper corners.
The Vintage Wine Barrel finish on the panels looks right at home in any classy establishment.
