The Black Swamp Anthony Di Sanza Triangle Trigger allows you to create professional, orchestral-quality sounds on a triangle without actually having to hold the instrument. This is a wonderful piece of equipment for percussionists who need to play those triangle licks and just don't have time to switch.
The wide rubber band at the end of the horizontal section rests directly on top of your triangle beater's handle, and every time you touch it with your hands, a stick, or a mallet, the beater will jump up and hit the triangle. The width allows you to play quick, intricate passages with two implements.
You can use a wide variety of your own high-end instruments and beaters with this trigger, and it's highly adjustable. Height can be changed to compensate for triangles from 4" - 8", and the instrument can be positioned left- or right-of-center if desired.
The triple beater holder firmly grasps triangle beaters with handles of different sizes: one hole each for handles 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" in diameter. You can also adjust the horizontal distance of the beater holder to accommodate implements of different lengths.
The horizontal section is attached to the vertical section at 135 degrees to force the beater to strike the triangle at the best angle for producing full, rich sounds. The whole thing mounts to any 3/8" knurled rod or a cymbal stand with a 3/8" post, integrating with a MultiPlate easily.
