Motor On by Matthew Weyer is a compilation of solo works for vibraphone. This book works to fill a wide pedagogical void by providing 2, 3, and 4 mallet vibraphone solos that are truly meant for intermediate players.
These short solos allow less developed vibe players to work on techniques specific to this instrument such as pedaling and dampening without being forced to attempt an advanced work that is perhaps to long or too challenging for where they currently are in their musical journey.
