Danza Furioso by Jonathan Ovalle features a xylophone soloist backed up by a marimba trio (all on one instrument) in a brisk, festive show of skill that might just cause the audience to whip out their tambourines and join in on the fun!
With a very distinctive gypsy flair, this piece is meant to feature the xylophone without resorting to the ragtime flavor that is used so much in regards to that particular instrument. It's fun and flashy, with some comedic moments and plenty of quick scales to mesmerize the crowd.
