Hushabye Mountain, the melancholic lullaby from the 1968 film classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is available for percussion ensembles thanks to the orchestration skills of Stephen Primatic.
Emulating a music box, this sadly haunting tune effectively demonstrates a young ensemble's ability to be lyrical and melodic on percussion instruments. Most players will be behind keyboards, with the addition of one timpanist and two players on accessories.
