Tapspace Persistence by Brian Blume

A rhythm played on a metallic pipe runs all the way through Brian Blume's percussion quintet Persistence, while the other players groove and play around it in a number of meters. It's catchy enough for a general audience, but interesting enough for undergrad players.

Metallic and drummy accents constantly mix it up with overlapping marimba patterns. Persistence ships as a professionally spiral-bound score with a CD containing individual parts in PDF format.
