The Meinl VivaRhythm Tri-Tone Cajon is not your average cajon. This cajon is equipped with three different playing surfaces, each providing the player with a different sound, allowing the player to switch effortlessly between different styles.
The lowest surface is made from a dark striped onyx, and has two internal snare wires to give the player a traditional Peruvian cajon sound. The upper two surfaces provide the player with the option of switching back and forth between a bongo cajon sound and a snare cajon sound.
