The Meinl Woodcraft Cajon features a 7-ply, 9mm Baltic Birch body with a beautiful and elegant Espresso Burst frontplate. This rugged construction allows players to play with more force for huge, round bass tones and well-defined snare attacks.
The internal snares of this cajon are made from specially wound metal strings that run the entire length of the front plate for extra sensitive snare response that can pick up tiny finger rolls to sharp accents and everything in between.
The corners of the dark Espresso Burst frontplate are ergonomically rounded so it is more comfortable to play and the sharp edges won't between to hurt the player's hands.
