Meinl Woodcraft Series Congas combine traditional craftsmanship with the company's most premium shells. The shells themselves are made from two plies of American White Ash, and have a more traditional, rounded profile than Meinl's other congas.
These drums also include True Skin Buffalo Heads for an authentic sound, 10mm tuning lugs to keep the heads tight under enormous pressure, 4mm traditional rims for the most volume possible, and chrome plated hardware. Wooden Soundpads come included so the drums have resonance even without a stand, and conga saver lug protectors keep the shells from being scratched. An accessory pouch, a tuning key, and tune up oil are also included.
Meinl congas are offered in three sizes: 11" Quinto, 11 3/4" Conga, and 12 1/2" Tumba.
