The Tama Closed Hi Hat Z Rod is your easy way to mount hi hats on your marching battery instruments. When paired with the Tama MC-8 Hoop Grip, the pain of mounting auxiliary instrument ceases. The Z Rod uses a standard 3/8" rod so you can mount it with any clamp capable of holding it.
Not only is the Z Rod easy to install, it's also easy to adjust your hi hat sound thanks to the adjustable clutch. Adjust your sound from tight to slightly open with a simple turn of the clutch.
